CO-AUTHOR
From childhood, I knew that my vocation was teaching. This deep desire to share knowledge led me to pursue my education as a National Teacher and later as a Speech and Language Therapist.
However, it was a personal experience that ultimately defined the direction of my life. During my post-adolescent years, I experienced severe acne, which awakened in me the desire to understand the skin and discover how I could restore my own skin health while supporting others who were going through similar experiences. This journey led me to study Cosmetology, a profession where I found the opportunity to unite science, health, education, and service to others.
I obtained my degree as a National Cosmetologist, granted by the Ministry of Culture and Education of the Argentine Republic, and later achieved the international certification as an International CIDESCO Beauty Therapist and Cosmetologist (Switzerland). My passion for teaching also inspired me to continue my professional development as a Vocational Training Instructor through the Technical Education Council, a Vocational Training Instructor certified by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and a Pedagogical Trainer as a Vocational Training Instructor through the Ministry of Education of the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
Understanding that continuous education is a professional responsibility, I have participated for more than four decades in national and international congresses focused on dermatology, aesthetic medicine, cosmetic surgery, lymphology, and phlebology. Throughout my career, I have had the honor of presenting original research and sharing innovative contributions of my own authorship.
A fundamental stage in my professional journey was my work within the Dermatology Department at the Hospital Israelita of Buenos Aires, where I collaborated with renowned dermatology specialists and treated patients referred for aesthetic cosmiatric treatments.
This experience strengthened my interdisciplinary vision and reaffirmed my belief that aesthetics must always be developed with scientific support and through close collaboration with medical professionals.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving as an educator and speaker in different Latin American countries, training professionals and promoting the recognition and advancement of Cosmetology, Cosmiatry, and Aesthetics as respected professional disciplines. Each educational experience has strengthened my commitment to ethical, responsible, and evidence-based training.
