My name is Melanie Ivonne Marusic Behoteguy, and I am a Bolivian professional makeup artist, certified dermocosmetologist, cosmetologist, entrepreneur, and educator passionate about integral beauty as a powerful tool to transform self-esteem, build confidence, and empower individuals.

My professional journey began at the age of 17 when I started my training in professional makeup artistry. I later expanded my expertise into cosmetology and dermocosmetology, convinced that exceptional makeup always begins with healthy, well-cared-for skin. Throughout my career, I have earned national and international certifications in professional makeup, skincare, and dermocosmetology, including advanced training at UNICEN, CAEC, and ICONO Academy in Argentina. In addition, I studied Social Communication at the Bolivian Catholic University "San Pablo" and further specialized in marketing, branding, digital communication, and content creation—disciplines that now strengthen and complement my professional approach.

I am the Founder and CEO of Glam By Melanie, a brand created to provide a comprehensive beauty experience that integrates professional makeup artistry, dermocosmetology, facial treatments, image consulting, and professional education. Through this platform, I help every client discover and enhance their natural beauty while honoring their individuality, personality, and unique needs.

In 2023, I founded the Association of Estheticians of Bolivia (ASO.ES.BO) with the mission of contributing to the professionalization of the aesthetics industry by promoting education, continuing professional development, and collaboration among specialists from different areas of beauty and aesthetics. This initiative reflects my commitment to strengthening the industry and fostering lifelong learning for beauty professionals.

Alongside my entrepreneurial work, I serve as an international speaker and educator, delivering courses, workshops, and masterclasses on professional makeup, skincare, skin preparation, image consulting, self-makeup techniques, and personal branding for women entrepreneurs and executives. My goal is to demonstrate that beauty not only transforms appearance but also strengthens confidence, communication, and personal development.
