I am Venezuelan, and have been residing in Mexico for the past eight years. I graduated as a physician 32 years ago from the University of Zulia (LUZ), with a specialization in aesthetics. I obtained my specialist degree in Ozone Therapy from the National Research Clinic of Cuba (CNIC) in La Pradera, Havana, Cuba. I also became a specialist in Dermatocosmiatry at the Ramón J. Mejía Hospital in Buenos Aires, Ar-gentina, and completed advanced studies in comprehensive aesthetic devices in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I currently serve as Academic Vice President of UIPE (International Union of Aesthetic Professionals), endorsed by the “Safe Aesthetics” seal from the European Union and The Hague, and as Academic Vice President of ESEI Venezuela. I also hold certifications in 14 competency standards in Mexico, accredited by the SEP (Secretary of Public Education). 

For the past eight years, I have been Medical Director of the Internation-al Clinic of Cosmetics in Nuevo Progreso, Tamaulipas, Mexico, where we lead in laser and biostimulator treatments. I am a pioneer in lip fill-ers and botulinum toxin application, and a specialist in treating overfill-ing and patients overstimulated with collagen.

I conclude my introduction with my guiding principle: “The older the patient, the lower the dose.”
