I’m Jennifer Rosenblum, Founder and Executive Director of The Skin Games. People often ask me how I came up with the idea, and the truth is, it’s really the story of everything I’ve done leading up to it—and the people who helped me along the way.

I’ve always had a creative streak. I earned my BA in Design and Industry with a focus on Marketing and Graphic Design, which gave me the tools to think both strategically and visually. My early career was spent in advertising and sales, where I learned how to connect brands with audi-ences and communicate value in a way that made people care.

From there, I moved into event planning and multimedia production, gaining experience managing logistics, organizing projects, and creat-ing experiences. Those skills later played a big role when it came time to build The Skin Games.

When I earned my esthetics license, I quickly realized how difficult it was to get hired without two years of experience. An internship with a dermatologist confirmed that wasn’t the path I wanted, so I opened my own spa—not just to build my career, but to create opportunities for other new graduates facing the same challenge.

In 2015, I took the leap to create The Skin Games. What started as a bold idea quickly grew into a global stage where professionals compete in multiple categories, document case studies, and gain recognition for their results. Over the years, it has also forged international partner-ships with brands and sponsors who value this community as much as I do.
